Pizza Hut Canada Has Poutine Pizza

カナダのピザハットにはプーティンピザがある

We've been eating poutine every day (if we include the poutine chips), then one of our mutual friends told us that Pizza Hut Canada has poutine pizza and the link he posted showed Cheesy Beef Poutine and 4 other Canadian's favorite recipes.
These're the restaurants we've been to try poutine, FYI.
We wondered and researched if Pizza Hut Canada still has it, but the HP didn't show or there's no poutine pizza listed on the selection of pizzas.
The articles I found were all posted in June 2013, so we thought maybe the limited time offer has been discontinued.
But we really wanted to try the pizza and my husband just called them if they have poutine pizza.
The person who took our order sounded a little bit confused hearing us asking if they have poutine pizza, but he checked his boss or coworkers in French and got back to us shortly.
He said "yes" to the question if poutine pizza is still available!!
We asked if they still have the Cheesy Beef Poutine, but he sounded no or not sure, so we just got the regular poutine pizza even though it wasn't on the webpage.
After several minutes of confirmation of the address, because we can't speak French, we set the order officially.
After about 40 minutes, the pizza, a box of nuggets, and a bottle of diet Pepsi arrived.
We're excited to see the pizza.
Ooooooh, poutine!!!!
Fries and cheese curds on the top of the soft and crispy pan pizza with melted mozzarella.
Mmmmm....
The pizza sauce they put was, needless to say, gravy sauce.
This gravy sauce wasn't too salty --- my preferred taste.
The pan pizza was fluffy but the surface was very crispy and light.
Fries were not burned like La Banquise and perfectly golden brown.
Poutine pizza was actually good and I enjoyed without beef on it.
I don't wanna think about the calories from carbohydrate and fat, but this was just sooo gooooood!!
Chicken nuggets we got were "BBQ au Miel" so it's "Honey BBQ."
And the sauce reminded me of Hooter's boneless chicken wings with BBQ sauce.
And yes, white meat.
I love that when I order chicken, breast meat (white meat) is the default in North America.
Poutine pizza: 12.99

Tax 1: 2.25
Tax 2: 3.48
Total: 26.75 CND dollars
* In Canada, two types of taxes are added.
One is for Canada, and the other for the province.
But I couldn't tell which tax was for which, I just distinguished by 1 and 2.

共通の友達がカナダのピザハットにプーティンピザがあると教えてくれた。
参考までに、これまでにプーティンを食べに行ったお店は以下。
投稿されたリンクを開いてみると、本当にカナダのピザハットが
チージー ビーフ プーティンとその他合わせて5種類のカナダ人好みの
ピザを販売していたことが分かった。
ネットで今でも販売しているか確かめてみたけれど、
HPに記載はなく、メニュー一覧にもプーティンは無かった。
見つけた記事は全て2013年6月に投稿されていて、
期間限定商品だったので今はもう無いのだろうと解釈。
ただ、どうしても食べてみたい。
そう思って、旦那が店舗へ直接電話をしてみた。
電話を受けた男性に「プーティンピザはありますか？」と聞いたところ、
ちょっと困惑したような声で「確認します」と言って電話口を離れ、
早口のフランス語で上司か同僚に確認していた。
すぐに電話口に戻ってきて、「はい、あります」と言っていたので
迷わず注文した。
ついでに期間限定販売されていた「チージー ビーフ プーティン」が
今でもあるか聞いてみたけれど、あいまいな返答だったので
ネットには載ってないものの、プーティンピザを頼むことにした。
私たちはフランス語が話せないので、何度が住所の確認のやりとりが続き、
正式にプーティンピザの注文が完了。
約40分後、ピザ、チキンナゲット、ダイエットペプシが届いた。
楽しみに箱を開けてみると、プーティン！ まさにピザプーティン！！
ふっくら＆カリッとしたパンピザの上には溶けたモッツァレラチーズ、
その上にはフライドポテトとチーズカードが乗っていて、
プーティンそのもの。
ピザソースはプーティンに使われるグレービーソースだった。
このグレービーソースはしょっぱくなく、好みの味。
パンピザはふかふかで、表面はカリッとしていて香ばしく、
ポテトは La Banquise とは違ってキツネ色で美味。
期間限定商品の牛肉が乗ったピザではなく、
このプーティンピザはそのままで十分美味しいと思った。
炭水化物、脂肪の量は、きっと知らない方がいい数値だと思うけれど、
本当に美味しかったので良し！
一緒に注文したチキンナゲットは、
「ハニーバーベキューソース」がかかったもの。
フーターズ（Hooter's）のボンレスチキンウィングの
バーベキューソースと味が似ていて美味しかった。
そして、北米では鶏肉と言えば胸肉が基本なので、
美味しい胸肉のナゲットを堪能。

ダイエットペプシ：2.99
ボトルのデポジット：0.05
税金1：2.25
税金2：3.48
合計：26.75カナダドル
* カナダでは、カナダ国内の税金と、州ごとの税金と
2種類課税される。
どちらが州税なのか不明のため、1と2に分類。
